Gryffindors are known for their bravery, but they also have other characteristics such as loyalty and chivalry. Not all Gryffindors are courageous; some are loyal or chivalrous instead of brave – though these traits may still be present in people who identify as Gryffindors!

What are some of Gryffindor’s characteristics?

The Sorting Hat looks for certain characteristics when assigning students to Houses, and those characteristics are reflected in the colors and symbols associated with each House. Gryffindor is represented by a gold lion on a red background. Gryffindors are known for being brave, strong, and adventurous.

For example, Godric Gryffindor was chosen as one of the four founders of Hogwarts because he was known to be an extremely brave wizard.

Gryffindor students also exhibit these characteristics during their time at Hogwarts. For example, Hermione Granger (a Gryffindor student) is known for being resourceful, brave and intelligent.

Considering a Sword of Gryffindor Tattoo?

The sword of Gryffindor has long been a symbol of bravery, loyalty, and strength. It was forged by the goblins of Gringotts bank in the sixteenth century for use by a wizard named Godric Gryffindor. The sword was wielded by some of the most important figures in wizarding history, including Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, and Hermione Granger. However, it is now kept safely in its permanent resting place at Hogwarts castle.

As legend goes, when Hogwarts was first established as a school for wizards, Godric Gryffindor entrusted his sword to the first headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore. Dumbledore used the sword to separate pieces of his soul from his body so that he could create horcruxes, which were magical objects that contained fragments of his soul and would have allowed him to live forever if they had not been destroyed by Harry Potter.

Gryffindor’s sword has long been associated with bravery since it was first given to Harry Potter as a tool to defeat Lord Voldemort. Harry used the sword in several battles against Voldemort and his followers throughout the series. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2010), Harry used the sword to destroy one final horcrux that contained.

What Kind of Gryffindor Design Should I Choose?

As a Gryffindor, you want to be represented on your person in the most patriotic and Gryffindor-esque way possible.

We know that some of you are really into the whole “classic” look, so we went with a design inspired by the original Hogwarts uniforms. The tattoo itself is an intricate portrait of the four Houses on either side of a crest (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin). On the bottom are two stars; one for each House.

On your arm or leg, we think this would look fantastic. It’s not too big to where it won’t fit on your sleeve or leg, but not too small that it would be difficult to see. And since there’s only one design to choose from, it’s also easier to make sure it’s always aligned correctly with the other tattoos on your arm or leg.

For those of you who want something a little more traditional—maybe you have some sort of old school tattoo already—we have a few different options available as well. You can go with the four Hogwarts houses in one.
